I want to Lose Weight “the healthy way” but….?
how many calories am I burning? and how many calories should I have per day while only drinking water in order to lose one-two pounds per week? I’m trying to lose at least 30 lbs by the end of the summer. I am 5’2 and weigh about 170 lbs or so…
You’re probably burning about 2000 calories a day, assuming that you have a fairly light activity level. I’d aim for 1500 calories a day, and drink roughly 8 glasses of water. If you team this with a light/moderate amount of exercise, then you should definitely be on track to lose 2 pounds a week. If you exercise a lot, then you can probably aim for more like 1600-1700 calories a day.
